The Association of Lithuanian automobilists
History of the Association of Lithuanian Automobilists (Lithuanian abbreviation LAS) starts as early as in the year 1974, when the Society of Lithuanian Drivers Amateurs (LAUDA) was established.
In the year 1989, LAUDA was reorganized into the Association of Lithuanian Automobilists (LAS).
LAS is the largest public organization engaged in protection of interests of automobilists: at present, it unites clubs of 14 towns and districts of Lithuania and the number of its members exceeds several thousands.
